Mannheim is a perfect-sized city for biking and lots of people use this great and eco-friendly way of transport in their everyday life to travel from home to work and to university. Thousands of exchange students come every semester from all over the world and use bicycle even if there are not enough bike roads and parking places. We want to support a safe biking and promote the use of bikes instead of public transport.
The petition should reach University of Mannheim and Mannheim city hall to raise the awareness of local government to this issue. We need more parking places at the University and safe bike roads from the biggest student dormitories to University.
